Our Government of, by, and for the people runs because of our Federal Workers—they are the backbone of our government, delivering critical services to the American people. I am a former federal worker myself and will fight for the thousands of workers who have been fired illegally. 

Donald Trump and his Administration are actively attacking THIS community. OUR community. These are the people who deliver your mail, ensure our food and water are safe, process Social Security and food stamps, get your tax refund out the door, steward our national parks, ensure our planes fly safely, and countless other services. Let’s be clear: cutting the federal workforce means cutting our jobs, our services, and our future.  

Our Federal Workers reach into every corner of our country. They are dedicated and passionate public servants. They are subject matter experts, servicemembers and veterans. They are young people who just graduated and are entering the workforce, hungry to participate in our democracy. And all of them deserve our help.

I support protecting and empowering our Federal Workforce. This means defending jobs, agencies, and the federal institutions that have stood the test of time and uphold our democracy.  Our government is not faceless bureaucracy. It is powered by the people.
